Ride to Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach
Hai Van Pass is known for its coastal road with views of the blue sea, scenic train tracks, and the beautiful Lang Co Beach. It’s considered one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam. This area was also a fierce battleground during the Vietnam War, and the remnants of war are well-preserved, offering insight into the intensity of the conflict.

Today marks the beginning of an exciting cycling journey. The route features gentle uphills and downhills, adding thrill to your ride. The route covers approximately 50km over five hours. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse in fresh air and witness the tranquil rural landscapes of Vietnam.

After lunch, you will continue cycling along the Ho Chi Minh Trail (Western route), exploring the villages where local people live and experiencing their lifestyle and culture. Cycling for about 35km over two hours to reach AK 1. It is a lesser-known destination, often mentioned in journeys exploring the highland areas, offering pristine natural landscapes and unique cultural experiences from ethnic minority groups, particularly the Ta Oi people.

Today’s riding course is one of the closest parts of the Ho Chi Minh Trail to the Laos border, a notorious road built with the help of indigenous people using shovels and hoes. Originally created during the Vietnam War to transport military supplies south, the road was widened and paved after the war to commemorate the historic victory. This section features long uphill climbs and thrilling downhill sections, providing an exciting cycling experience.

Start the ride approximately 50km, about 5 hours. Afterward, enjoy lunch with local cuisine at Ban Le commune . After luch, continue the ride approximately 30km,about 3 hours. Arrive at Dong Giang and check into the hotel.
