The climate on the mountain is extremely harsh, with strong winds making the journey to conquer the peak quite difficult and filled with lurking dangers. Although it ranks only 7th among the highest mountains in Vietnam, the path to the summit of Ta Chi Nhu is exceptionally treacherous, ranking among the most challenging trekking routes in the country. The weather in Ta Chi Nhu reflects the characteristics of Northern Viet Nam, with four distinct seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The ideal time for a Ta Chi Nhu trekking tour is from November to March each year.
Son La to Ta Chi Nhu mountatin
The guide will pick you up at the meeting point and transfer you to Ngoc Chien Commune, Son La.
Route: Hanoi – National Highway 32 – Nghia Lo – Tu Le – Ngoc Chien.

Itinerary
06:30: Wake up and enjoy breakfast with coffee or ginger tea. You may get up early and hike to the summit of Ta Chi Nhu again to catch the sunrise.
07:30: Pack your belongings and begin the descent.
11:30: Rest and have lunch.
15:00: A vehicle will take you back to Tram Tau, and then you will head to the hot mineral spring baths.
16:30: Depart for Ha Noi. Dinner will be served along the way.
23:45: Arrive at the original meeting point. End of the program, and the guide bids farewell to the group.

User manual
- A service confirmation voucher will be emailed to you immediately after you complete the tour payment. Please print the voucher or save it on your phone and show it to the guide when you check in.
- For those who are prone to motion sickness, please bring anti-nausea medication as a precaution.
- Prepare some common medications: cold medicine, fever reducers, and digestive aids just in case.
- If you require vegetarian meals, please inform us in advance so we can arrange and prepare accordingly.
- Items to prepare when participating in the tour: a jacket, hat, socks… and a scarf to prepare for colder weather (the temperature in the high mountain areas will be lower, especially at night).
- For foreign guests, it is advisable to carry your passport.
- Please comply with all arrangements made by the tour guide. If you need to communicate, please inform the guide for assistance.

- In the event of any incidents (accidents, etc.), please remain calm and follow all instructions from the tour guide.
Refund / cancellation regulations
All tour cancellation requests must be communicated via email. We do not accept cancellation notifications through phone calls or messages.
- Cancellations made 10 days before the departure date: No fee.
- Cancellations made 2-6 days before the departure date: 50% of the tour fee will be charged.
- Cancellations made 48 hours before the departure date or no-shows: 100% of the tour fee will be charged.
- If you arrive late to the departure point for any reason, it will be considered a tour cancellation and you will incur a 100% fee.
- If there are not enough participants for the tour by the departure date, the company will cancel the tour and refund the customer’s deposit.
