Memorable 1 Day Busking Trip by Motorbike
Busan – Hanoi – Nghia Lo
The members of the Busan music club, who had been preparing for a long time, finally set foot in Vietnam. We arrived in Hanoi at 1:00 PM, and after quickly organizing our luggage, we reached Nghia Lo at 5:30 PM. Before getting on the highway, we stopped by the roadside to buy roasted corn and steamed sweet potatoes, adding extra flavor to the journey.
Along the way, we stopped at a rest area to try coconut drinks and Vietnamese snacks, then continued to Van Chan, famous for its hot springs.
True to the spirit of a busking trip, we busily prepared for the performance. Tuning guitars, setting up amplifiers, hanging banners and signs, everything was filled with excitement. Once ready, we enjoyed a delicious dinner with local food.
However, we realized firsthand that ordering extra dishes in Vietnam can take quite some time.
As soon as the meal was over, preparations for the performance continued.
The sight of club members on stage shone brightly.
Their post retirement hobby echoed through the night air of Vietnam.
Although a limited promotion meant not many locals attended, the one hour performance was full of pure passion for music.
Isn’t it beautiful to be wholly absorbed in something? Although it was an amateur performance, its resonance and sincerity were enough to touch the audience’s hearts.
We will ride motorcycles to Mu Cang Chai, 110 km away, tomorrow.
A new travel paradigm combining a motorbike tour and busking – this extraordinary journey already fills us with anticipation.
It’s genuinely a joyful trip.
