Located at an altitude of 2913m, Lung Cung Peak is named after a village deep in the most rugged mountainous area in Tu Le commune, Van Chan district, Yen Bai. Once you start the trekking course, you will experience all the topography of the mountain forest with beautiful scenery. It’s a dense primeval forest with large rocks covered with soft moss. It’s a valley full of grass and dishes filled with wind, with mountains on all sides and terraced villages in the distance. It’s a forest of twinkling trees that can’t see the sky. Lung Cung Peak 2.913m high, in Mu Cang Chai district, is among Vietnam’s top 15 highest peaks. In the past few years, Lung Cung has attracted many mountaineering enthusiasts because of its beautiful mountainous terrain and short climbing path with moderate difficulty. It is also an ideal place to hunt clouds and can especially see sunset and dawn in the middle of the cloudy sea due to its unrestricted 360 degree view.

08:00 Hanoi – Departure (approximately 260km)
The coach and tour guide from Tour Coach Travel will pick you up at the designated location.

13:00 Continue towards Nghia Lo

15:00 Arrive at Ban Lim Mong – Overnight Stay

Tu Le to Lung Cung

Itinerary
06:00: Breakfast
Start your day with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the adventure ahead. Afterward, prepare your belongings and pack your luggage, ensuring you have everything you need for the day.
06:30: Departure, heading towards Nam Co commune, approximately 18km away.
After breakfast, the journey continues with a drive of around 18km to Nam Co. From there, travel by motorbike for about 15km to the trekking point, where the exciting hike begins.
08:00 Start the Mountain Climb
Trek approximately 6-7km, which will take about 4 hours to reach the rest hut. Along the way, you’ll pass through a primeval forest and ascend steep slopes that lead you into an ancient chestnut forest. The trail is challenging with many ups and downs and dense vegetation, making it a true test of endurance.
12:00 Lunch
Arrive at the rest hut, located at an altitude of 2,540m.
Here, take a well-deserved break and enjoy a delicious pre-prepared lunch, surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery. The quiet and fresh air provide the perfect environment for a relaxing meal.
12:20 Continue the Journey to the Summit
Continue your journey for another 2km to reach the summit.
The path becomes steeper, but your determination will guide you through as you approach the peak. This leg of the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.
13:30: Reach the Summit at 2,913m.

14:00: Descend the Mountain
Begin your descent along the same route, or if the weather is favorable, take the new trail that passes through the scenic Ta Co Y valley. Either way, the journey down promises more stunning views of the landscape.
17:30 Arrive at the Foot of the Mountain
After descending, travel by motorbike back to Nam Co commune, where you can rest and unwind.
From Nam Co, head back to the homestay for some relaxation after the challenging hike.
19:00 Dinner

Khau Pha to Ha Noi

07:00 Wake up, enjoy the morning view, and breathe in the fresh morning air.
After waking up, take a moment to enjoy the tranquility of the morning, appreciating the peaceful surroundings. Then, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and after that, pack your belongings and prepare for check-out from your accommodation.
08:00 Depart for Tu Le hot spring, approximately 5km away.
Set off for the hot spring, with a short drive of about 5km. You will soon arrive at one of the most beautiful and soothing locations of the day.
Tu Le hot spring originates from underground water sources, with a temperature ranging from 43 to 45 degrees Celsius. The water contains beneficial minerals such as sulfur, calcium, potassium, and magnesium, known for their therapeutic effects on the skin, muscle pain relief, and stress reduction.
Here, there are two hot spring baths located right next to the cool stream. One bath is very hot, while the other is warm, providing a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate while enjoying the serene view of rice paddies on the banks.
After enjoying the hot spring, continue your journey over Khau Pha Pass to reach Ngoc Chien hot spring (approximately 50km away).
Khau Pha Pass, along with Pha Din Pass, O Quy Ho, and Ma Pi Leng, is part of the “four great mountain passes” of the Northwest. The Khau Phạ Pass stretches for 30km and reaches an altitude of 1,200m, famous for its winding roads and steep cliffs, making it both an exhilarating and challenging drive.
Ngoc Chien hot spring is often called a “spring” by the local Thai people, but in reality, it consists of multiple hot spring sources (approximately 13 springs) with varying temperatures, ranging from 30°C to 70°C, offering a unique natural experience.

13:00 Return to Hanoi
Depart and follow National Highway 32 and the Lao Cai – Hanoi expressway, enjoying the scenic drive back. The road offers a pleasant journey through the landscape, bringing you closer to your destination.

- A service confirmation voucher will be emailed to you immediately after you complete the tour payment. Please print the voucher or save it on your phone and show it to the guide when you check in.
- For those who are prone to motion sickness, please bring anti-nausea medication as a precaution.
- Prepare some common medications: cold medicine, fever reducers, and digestive aids just in case.
- If you require vegetarian meals, please inform us in advance so we can arrange and prepare accordingly.
- Items to prepare when participating in the tour: a jacket, hat, socks… and a scarf to prepare for colder weather (the temperature in the high mountain areas will be lowed, especially at night).
- For foreign guests, it is advisable to carry your passport.
- Please comply with all arrangements made by the tour guide. If you need to communicate, please inform the guide for assistance.

Refund / cancellation regulations
All tour cancellation requests must be communicated via email. We do not accept cancellation notifications through phone calls or messages.
- Cancellations made 10 days before the departure date: No fee.
- Cancellations made 2-6 days before the departure date: 50% of the tour fees will be charged.
- Cancellations made 48 hours before the departure dates or no-shows: 100% of the tour fees will be charged.
- If you arrive late to the departure point for any reason, it will be considered a tour cancellation and you will incur a 100% fee.
- If there are not enough participants for the tour by the departure date, the company will cancel the tour and refund the customer’s deposit.
